Nomination

I received another e-mail today.

My coordinator from Ritsu (Mr. Chris) said that I have been nominated for the JASSO scholarship.

THIS MADE ME SO HAPPY!

This moves me another step closer to my Japan Plan!

The final result will be out by the end of February. I am so nervous. I really hope that I get this scholarship.

I am hoping for the best. Cheers!

God is good.

My signature.

Two days ago, my university coordinator texted me. She asked me to visit her office because I needed to sign some additional forms.

And yesterday, I went to her office. I signed a form from Ritsumeikan University; it's to finalize my acceptance in the university. Wow.

I've been in accepted in SKP (Study in Kyoto Program) under the JWP  (Japan and World Perspectives) track/curriculum.

I signed the form, agreeing to the arrangements in the said program. Everything will be taught in English; I think I'll be admitted in an International studies program (according to my research). This got me very excited. This was too amazing. The only thing missing is my JASSO scholarship.

I asked my coordinator when the JASSO scholarship results will be released, she said that it would probably come out this February. I am nervous.

I really hope I get that scholarship. Please!

Two days ago, I rode the jeep with my Hapon11 professor (by chance). I told her about my "Japan Plan" and about Ritsumeikan; she was so happy. I told her that I'm still waiting for the scholarship results, but I was surprised because she went ahead and told the whole class about it. HAHA. Pressure! My classmates congratulated me, I thanked them, and told them about my anxious/nervous anticipation for the JASSO results.

Oh, next week, we're going to watch a Japanese film in class in celebration of Valentine's Day. How lovely. And we need to bring chocolate. Hihi.

God is good. Cheers! : )

Housing forms

Today I filled out my housing application forms.

I listed Housing I as my first choice; it would cost 36,000 yen/month: single room, communal bath (no shower cubicles), lounge & kitchen. Free laundry & internet. 10-15 minutes away from the university by bike.

Housing II, my 2nd choice, would cost 45,000 yen. It offers pretty much the same services; the only difference is that the bathroom is private (with shower cubicles).

Choices 3 and 4 are apartments - they're a lot more expensive, internet & laundry are not free. But kitchen & bath are private. 5 minutes away from the university by foot.

I hope I get my first choice.

AND OF COURSE, I HOPE I GET MY JASSO SCHOLARSHIP for all of these to finally happen.

Help me God. Cheers.

Another e-mail

This time, they sent me an e-mail about my housing application (university dorm).

And yes, cheers to more excitement!

Let's hope that I also get the scholarship. My coordinator said that the scholarship results should be released this month. Cheers to more excitement/tension/frisson!

I'm almost there. I shall be patient.

Help me God

Cheers : )
